Resumo

The monoclonal antibody PCNA recognizes a nuclear antigen, which is expressed by proliferating cells. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the immunohistochemical expression of PCNA in corneo-conjunctival intraepithelial neoplasia and to correlate the PCNA proliferative index with the tumor aggressiveness. Our results suggest that there are not a relationship between PCNA index and the other studied factors.
