Aspectos críticos de los baremos de valoración del daño auditivo

Abstract

Introduction.- Sometimes the othorrynolaryngologist is under the obligation to emit reports about hearing damages due to illness or accidents, that generally will determine economic lendings or recongnition of discapacity. Method and Material.-In this study we revise the scales in force which refer to the valoration of the hearing damage, and illnesses that are causes of discapacity, permanent incapacity and in relation to economic lendings and indemnities they are subsidiary. Results.- We exposed the scales and established the necesity of unify the different point of view of valoration, and proposed a new table in order to valorate the hearing damage. Conclussions.- 1. It doesn´t exist an uniform criterion. 2. The legislation es confuse and variable, it depends on the legislator. 3. The economic amounts are inssufficient. 4. The hearing damage table must be revised based on the actual audiometrics criterions, objetives and subjetives.
