Resumo
The confusional state is a transient mental disorder characterized by disturbances in cognition, sleep-wakefulness and psychomotor activity. Is a primary medical problem and not a functional psychiatric disorder. In this work we study the clinical features, diagnosis and treatment of this disorder, which is very frequent in the daily work of emergency area, where psychiatric and non psychiatric be aware because its diagnosis may be misled by functional psychiatric pathology.
