Abstract

The peripheral ameloblastoma is a rare odontogénic soft tissues tumor, derived from epithelial and/or mesenchymal element being part of the tooth-forming apparatus, slow growth, locally invasive that can reach great dimensions. If relegated the precocious treatment, characterized by high recurrence the lesions responsible for approximately 1% to 5% of all cases of ameloblastoma. The lesion was located in the left buccal space, the tumor was excised with oncologic margin and no recurrence has been observed after 24 months after surgery.
