Resumen

This Doctoral Thesis focuses on the preparation by various methods of "soft chemistry" of several series of Cobalt mixed oxides with general formula Lnl -xMxCoO3 (Ln= La, Pr, Nd, Gd; M= Ca, Ba, Sr; 0 < x < 0.50) and perovskite structure; in their structural and morphological characterization; and in the systematic search and study in these oxides of interesting magneto-transport properties, such as magnetoresistance. For this purpose the influence of a number of factors on the properties of these compounds is studied, in particular the nature of the lanthanide ions Ln3+ and the divalent metal cations M2+, the degree of doping (x) and the particle size of the polycrystalline samples
