Abstract

Pressure ulcers have an impact of care, social, economic and health, but they also represent a very important source of suffering for the patient. The existence in the market, of so many and varied products for the treatment, assumes a complication for many professionals. It is precise to promote greater knowledge and awareness of all those involved (professionals, patients and caregivers), to harmonize the guide- lines and the approach, improving the effectiveness and efficiency. The design and implementation of a catalog of products, agile and visual, based on pictograms and photographs, but that includes all the information necessary for the proper use of the products, facilitates a proper utilization and optimization of the dressings.
