Abstract
Oral cancer treatment may have a significant impact on patients’ quality of life. Its assessment through questionnaires is increasingly common in this area. In conjunction with analysis of recurrence and survival, the measure of the quality of life helps to anticipate the outcomes of treatment in the patient’s benefit. The purpose of this article has been to review the papers published for the period 2002-2012 that assess the quality of life related to health in patients treated for oral cancer. Further research is need to incorporate the questionnaires of quality of life related to health in daily practice.
