Abstract
The authors have studied three groups of patients with open-angle glaucoma and different topic treatments starting at least one month before. 35 eyes received treatment only with timolol maleate, 12 eyes with timolol and pilocarpine and 12 eyes with timolol and dipivalylepinephrine. They have measured the rate of aqueous formation (Fl by fluorophotometry and facility of aqueous outflow (el by tonography. They have found e and F higher in the second group than the first group without statistical difference. F and e had similar values in the group using timolol and timolol with dipivalylepinephrine.
