Abstract
This narrative aims to describe the work carried out in a newly created hospital unit (Innovation Unit), in which Nursing, not only carries out a care function with highly individualized as humanizing element, but also performs a research function achieving its own programs and projects. A nurse’s experience, which faces the change from her old workplace to the new unit, is linked in this narrative. Furthermore, one of the first patients admitted to the clinical case is taken as a sample of the application of individualized and comprehensive care.
