Resumo
School Nursing is a relatively recent discipline in Spain with significant variability according to the autonomies. Its most relevant functions include care, management, education and research, constituting an essential support for disease prevention and health promotion. The SARS.CoV-2 pandemic has revealed some of the weaknesses in the relationship between the health and education systems in Spain, perhaps due to its orientation to- wards chronicity care. The present work tries to open the deliberation on the relevance of the figure of the school nurse in pandemic situations like the current one.
