Objective:To provide nursing staff (based on the available scientific evidence) with the most updated data on nursing care in pemphigus vulgaris.Methodology: Bibliographic review. Search in the data-bases PubMed, Scielo, Cochrane Library Plus, Cuiden and IBECS; itwas completed with Dialnet and Google Scholar. MESH terminology was used(heading):pemphigusand (subheadings):nursing, prevention and controland "therapy" and free text vulgaris. Period 2011-2021.Results: We obtained 130 documents. After applyingthe inclusion and exclusion criteria and in-depth reading, 13 documents were finally selected. Conclusions: The nursing staff is a fundamental pillar in the treatment of people affected by pemphigus vulgaris by actively participating in the care, eitherin the treatment of active lesions or by detecting and monitor-ing possible pharmacological side effects, as well as by carrying out teaching tasks, instructing the patient and his family on the particularities of pemphigus vulgaris with the intention of achieving greater self-care
