Abstract
The anterior osteophytes of the cervical vertebrae, often associated with osteogenerative pathology, are, usually, asymptomatic, but may lead to severe complications to be considered, such as that presented in this case report, where due to the formation of obstructive retrotracheal hematoma, a rapidly progressive dyspnea is produced, and an urgent response was required due to the patient's live-threating condition.
