Resumo
We present a clinical case of retreatment, in a left upper canine made by ortho-retrograde route, due to the impossibility by orthograde way, to eliminate the obturation material next to the file separated inside conduit. The gutta-percha and AHplus sealant was sealed and the retro cavity with MTA. During the remote controls, pulpal necrosis was observed in the left upper central incisor, which underwent root canal treatment. The remote controls, carried out in several periods, demonstrate the success of endodontic-surgical therapy, reaching 17 years and 6 months with the apparent periradicular healing. When the diagnosis and therapeutics are correct, success is assured.
