Abstract
Moderate increase of eosinophilic white cells in the peripheral blood can be seen on a large number of discases, few illnesses are known to produce an excessive number of eosinophils. In that respect we present a case of toxocara canis infection on a 3 years old gin. Inmunofluorescent especific antibodies established the diagnosis. Therapy with diethylcarbamizine was effective. In returning the, patient clinicaly and analitical back to normal. A review of the clinical syndrome and the natural history of the disease is presented.
