Abstract

The aim of this article is to review the learning objectives of Comprehensive Adult Dental Care in Spanish Dental Schools. We describe the contents and framework of this subject as taught in the final year of the Dental degree. We also analyse the importance of the integration and coordination of the different dental areas and clinical training focussed basically on the integral planning and treatment of adults. At the same time we show the teaching methods according to the learning objectives proposed in the study plan and the behaviour expected from the students on finishing their training programme.
