Abstract

The mental health of adolescence has entered the social sphere to question anxiety, depression, the body, and suicide. The increase in psychopathology in the child and adolescent population requires caution and rigor in assessment, time for interdisciplinary work, and an integrative approach. The school should not interpret mental suffering to the same extent that health institutions do, being a meeting place with the other and with knowledge and repositioning the link and language, as priority forms of intervention.
