Abstract

The healthcare industry has been impacted by technological advancements, leading to the emergence of eHealth. However, patients are hesitant to embrace medical treatments through eHealth applications, which has caused a delay in the worldwide adoption of such applications. This empirical study aims to develop and validate an eHealth adoption model that focuses on patients' viewpoints and enables quantitative survey research. The study identifies strategies to enhance adoption, including addressing privacy concerns, empowering patients, promoting social support, ensuring eHealth justice, and upholding ethical standards. Overall, this study contributes valuable insights into eHealth adoption, paving the way for more effective healthcare technologies.
