Resumo

Pain deriving from tumoral infiltration may be disabling and refractory to third step analgesics. We present a 67-year-old patient suffering from metastatic breast cancer with tumor infiltration pain in the medial side of the mastectomy. After performing the BRCA block (anterior cutaneous branches of the intercostal nerves block) the patient experienced a significant pain relief that lasted several months without any technique complications.
